I have been reading quite a few books on the Business of Art. Not all of them made an impression. Here is a list of my favourites:
- I’d rather be in the Studio by Alyson B. Stanfield (if you had to have only one, this is the one; it is well written, has most of what one needs in their career)
- Thinking outside the frame by Gayle Etcheverry (very easy read, lots of great tips and quotes, this book is about using the Internet and other ways to market your art and make a leaving)
- The Creative Entrepreneur – A DIY Visual Guidebook for Making Business Ideas Real by Lisa Sonora Beam (the concept is to use visual journaling to integrate otherwise abstract business notions into your decision-making process)
Tous les livres présentés ci-dessus sont en anglais. Ils valent la peine de les lire.
