Every 2 years the Ottawa School of Art runs an Alumni show. It’s a great opportunity to see what fellow artists and friends have been working on and to catch up with them as well. Some don’t live in Ottawa.
It’s also a nice way to start the New Year as artist get paid CARFAC fees (for showing work in a professional Gallery).

On Sunday, I went to the Reception for this bi-annual show organised by the Ottawa School of Art. I have three pieces in this Gallery and the event was well attended as you can see from the video.
Ce dimanche, je suis allée à la réception pour cette exposition bis-annuelle organisée par l’École d’art d’Ottawa. J’ ai trois pièces dans cette galerie et l’évènement a été bien apprécié des convives comme vous pouvez le voir sur cette vidéo.

The Canadian Museum of Nature is presenting a juried show called “Nature into Sculpture” from May 5 – 13, 2012. The work is from members of the National Capital Network of Sculptors. I have a piece there called Coralline #VIII. I was there today for the “Meet the artists” event. Here are some photos of the exhibit.

Le Musée canadien de la nature présente une exposition d’oeuvres jurées appelée “De la Nature à la sculpture” du 5 au 13 mai 2012. Les pièces sont celles de membres du Réseau des sculpteurs de la capitale nationale. J’y ai une sculpture appelée Coralline #VIII. J’étais au musée aujourd’hui pour l’événement “Rencontrez les artistes”. Voici quelques photos de l’exposition.
